The Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council, North Dakota Corn Utilization Council, U.S. Grains Council, National Corn Growers Association and Northern Crops Institute are scheduled to host a regional trade school event for their farmer members and stakeholders in Alexandria, Minnesota, on March 16. We invite you to attend this free informative and interactive event!

Topics:

During this one-day event, attendees will explore a host of topics including:

  • The structure and benefits of global trade for U.S. grains

  • Hot topics in trade

  • Local topics

  • Farmer perspectives on working with trade policy and market development

Transportation:

Both the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council and the Minnesota Corn Promotion and Research Council will be providing transportation for attendees to carpool to the event in Alexandria. Below are details for each state.

North Dakota – depart at 7:20 a.m. from the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center parking lot at 2001 44th St S, Fargo, ND 58103. Arrive back to Fargo at about 7:00 p.m. Contact Heidie Haugo with any questions.

Minnesota – Do you want to reserve a seat on the group transportation from Marshall, MN? The bus will have a scheduled departure at 7:20 a.m. from the Marshall Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot, 1221 E Main St., Marshall, MN 56258. Contact MacKenzie Boubin with any questions.

Hotel Block:

Arrowwood has a block of room available. They can be reserved the for March 15 or 16. Interested parties can call Arrowood at (320) 762-1124 and ask for a room in the ND/MN Corn block. The address for the Arrowood Resort and Conference Center is 2100 Arrowwood Ln, Alexandria, MN 56308.
