About the Speaker.

Walter Lanza is a Commodity Export Trade Manager for The Scoular Company. Walter has a Master’s in Agribusiness and Agriculture Economics from North Dakota State University, with a focus on international trade and global supply chain. He has worked in a variety of roles at Scoular, including domestic trade, supply-chain management, and both exports and imports on a multitude of commodities.

Currently, he oversees the international trade and supply chain for animal products, spanning from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Scoular is one of the country’s largest exporters of ocean containers, with over 100,000 containers shipped annually from U.S. and abroad. Scoular provides diverse supply chain solutions for end-users and suppliers of grain, feed ingredients, and food ingredients for over 50 countries.
