About the Speaker.
Michael Ostlie | NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center
Dr. Mike Ostlie is the Director at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center for the past two years. Prior to that he was the Research Agronomist at the CREC for 10 years working on weed management, precision agriculture, cover crops, and variety evaluation and development. In his new role he maintains small research program focused on weed science, intercropping and lupin and sorghum variety development. Mike got his PhD from Colorado State University where he was the lead inventor of the CoAxium herbicide resistance trait in wheat.
