Course Overview:

This on-demand course offers an introduction to commodity procurement processes and risk management strategies specific to U.S. agricultural products. Designed as a primer for professionals new to the U.S. commodity system, the course covers U.S. production basics, an overview of transportation and storage systems, procurement fundamentals, and an introduction to risk management techniques. Participants will gain foundational knowledge to begin increasing proficiency in the procurement of U.S. commodities.

Participants will have access to the course for 3 months and will be able to complete the modules on their own time as their schedule allows.
