Responsibilities:
As Process Project Manager, Chris’ responsibilities include:

  • Operation of  Demaco Pasta Press, Wenger Twin Screw Extruder, and Pilot Swing Mill  

  • Support educational programming through lab demonstrations and product quality discussion

  • Work with parties interested in conducting product development at the NCI by discussing scheduling, formulas, and project objectives


Education:

Bachelor of Science in Food Science and minor in Food Safety from North Dakota State University


Experience:

10 years of experience with wheat milling and analysis. 

Wheat mill operator with the USDA-ARS Fargo on MIAG pilot scale mill and all experimental milling equipment. 

Developed SOP’s and hazard analysis reports for 31 pieces of wheat processing equipment and has experience with grain and flour quality analysis.
