Responsibilities:
As Technical Manager, Fatemeh’s responsibilities include:

  • Oversee safety programs for NCI staff and maintain facilities and equipment

  • Mid and long-term planning for capital improvements

  • Coordinate and schedule services and project updates with staff and clients

  • Help address industry for value-added processing and educational programming


Education:
Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology, Shahid Beheshti University

Master of Science in Food Science and Technology, Shahid Beheshti University

Ph.D. in Food Science and Bioresource Engineering, McGill University 


Experience:
Previously worked as a Food Safety and Quality Coordinator, and Senior Research and Development Scientist in academic and industrial level. Dr. Zare has work experience in quality and HACCP standard, food safety training, and operating procedures. She has conducted work with dietary supplement and ingredient formulations, and food product development and processing for pulse crops.
