Responsibilities:
As Program Manager, some of Krista’s responsibilities include:

• Coordinate educational programs for international and domestic participants

• Working with commodity groups, state and federal government agencies, and private industry

• Be responsible for identifying and building relationships with university faculty and staff, industry presenters, and other collaborators

• Serve as a liaison for agricultural organizations and commodity groups

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications with a Minor in Food Safety Management from North Dakota State University, Fargo, N.D

Experience:
Krista worked five years at Thunder Seed working in grower service, marketing, retail sales, and shipping and logistics. She also has four years experience at the North Dakota State Seed Department, and two years interning at Peterson Farms Seed in Marketing.

Krista is part of the Minnesota Ag & Rural Leadership (MARL) Program and has spent many years working on the family farm in Ada, MN.
