About the Speaker.
Born and raised in Punxsutawney, PA and then graduating from Slippery Rock College (now a university) I eventually started a career with Hobart, Inc. in 1981. The experiences in the food equipment industry during the past forty-two years have been numerous. A street salesman to foodservice and food retail businesses, district manager, branch manager, national account manager to state a few. My exposure to the current field of commercial baking commenced when Hobart purchased Adamatic in the mid-90’s. I was one of four persons placed in the Adamatic ranks to sell ovens, proofers, and make-up equipment. Since then, I have been instrumental in the development and marketing of new products for the food industry while being associated with Welbilt (becoming Enodis), Belshaw-Adamatic, and Baxter Manufacturing. My tenure with Baxter Mfg. was as the Director of Sales and Marketing from 2007 until 2019. Since then, my current role is V.P. of Sales for Revent, Inc., a manufacturer of baking equipment internationally based in Sweden with facilities in New Jersey. I am directly responsible for all equipment sales for the Americas.
