Future of Feeding - U.S. Soy-Optimized Aquaculture Feed: The Pathway to Sustainable Productivity
About the Webinar.
Please join us Wednesday, May 26th at 9:00am (CDT) for our "Future of Feeding" webinar series! This webinar series focuses on using innovation in the processing of animal food, the equipment being used (existing and newly developed), as well as using grains from our region for co-products. A new speaker will be featured each month.
This month will feature Lukas Manomaitis, Aquaculture Program Technical Contractor with the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). Some key topics that will be discussed during his hour-long webinar include:
Soy products that are suitable for aquafeeds, including SPC, SBO, soy lecithin, fermented soy, etc.
High quality, nutritionally complete feeds made with certified sustainable ingredients are important to industry and to us
Better feeding approaches, including new technology like using hydrophone-based “smart” automated feeders
Feed processing machinery for aquafeeds
Innovations in soy that might bring new products to market for the feed industry (i.e. less anti-nutritional factors, omega-3’s, astaxanthin, etc.)
So, mark your calendars! You wont want to miss this webinar!
