This month will feature Dr. Brian Jenks, Weed Scientist at North Dakota State University. Join us as Dr. Jenks presents on herbicide resistance in pulse crops.

About the Speaker.
Brian Jenks, Ph.D. is a Weed Scientist at North Dakota State University based in Minot, North Dakota. In his role, he conducts weed control research in most crops grown in western North Dakota, seeking to find solutions to troublesome annual and perennial weeds in cropland. A major focus is on herbicide-resistant weeds like kochia, wild oat, and green foxtail. Dr. Jenks also represents North Dakota as the state liaison with IR-4, a federal program focused on securing pesticide registrations for minor crops. He has worked with NDSU since 1997 and received his Ph.D. in Weed Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
