The campaign is scheduled to wrap up this month, along with NCI’s four-part Seed to Feed video and blog series. Every Wednesday, the partnership highlights are featured, along with discussion about how both parties are benefiting from this collaboration.

In Part Three, NCI Director Mark Jirik and GFT Co-Founder Peter Schott talk extensively about NCI’s educational and technical services. Watch the video, filmed in NCI’s feed mill classroom, where they also discuss the adaptations NCI has made to reach their target audience through the pandemic.

NCI Director Mark Jirik and GFT Co-Founder Peter Schott discuss NCI’s courses and how that education enhances knowledge of quality through the commodity supply chain.

Education expansions in the past few years included the kickoff of many webinar series. Additionally, the first handbook was produced. All efforts have a central goal of helping the international buyer understand the importance of quality of U.S. crops.

Education is one of the ways NCI works toward its mission of promoting northern grown crops and expanding domestic and international markets.  The Seed to Feed series with GFT is yet another way for NCI to engage in educating farmers and feed producers on how to work together to grow the highest quality feed in this region.

Come back next week Wednesday for Part Four, the conclusion of NCI’s Seed to Feed series. Peter and Mark dive into NCI’s technical services component, which is important in following the story of quality production throughout the entire supply chain.
