Farm Network’s “Know Your Farmer Tour”

Northern Crops Institute was a stop on Red River Farm Network’s “Know Your Farmer Tour” today. A group of about 25 national media planners and advertising professionals spent the morning hearing from regional farmers who discussed agriculture and also dispelled some perceptions that consumers often have about agriculture. Several groups of farmers presented and conducted panel discussions about Midwest agriculture, the North Dakota oil industry, and media usage. The tour was hosted by Mike Hergert, Don Wick and Jay Rehder of Red River Farm Network.
