Welcome to the Communications Corner ㅡ a once a month recap blog post sharing what NCI’s communications team has been up to!
This last month, we said goodbye to 2 of our interns, Paige & Maddie, as they started their fall semester of school. Liz, our communications & marketing intern, has decided to stay on part-time during her last semester of school. We are excited to keep her on this fall!
August was another busy month ㅡ our team works on a variety of projects and all things communication and marketing related. Let’s recap this month’s events:
Webinars

Courses
Our team also helps to market, run, and recap all the in-person and online courses held at NCI! This last month NCI held an online Durum Foods course. Although we did not have in-person participants, our communications team helped with the production of videos for the course as well as promoting it through emails, social media, and more!

Between the busyness of webinars, courses, and traveling…our team has also been hard at work editing videos, writing press releases, blog posts, planning, & more for upcoming events.
Communications & Marketing Specialist, Kari, has been dedicated to editing and finalizing all of the video work from our recent trip out West as well as a few other videos needed for upcoming courses!
Communications & Marketing Specialist, Kali, has been helping out various departments in NCI by creating different design projects such as; reports, banners, flyers, etc.!
Communications & Marketing Intern, Liz, has been working behind the scenes sending out webinar promotional and reminder emails as well as taking charge of NCI’s social media!
