Welcome to the Communications Corner ㅡ a once a month recap blog post sharing what NCI’s communications team has been up to!

January was another busy month ㅡ our team works on a variety of projects and all things communication and marketing related. Let’s recap this month’s events:

Webinars

Our team helps market, run, and recap NCI’s various webinars hosted several times each month! Learn more about each webinar from this month by reading our blog posts:

Webinars keep our team busy as we prepare them from start to finish each week. Before each webinar, our team creates the graphics, website content, Zoom registration and links for panelists and attendees, registration and reminder emails, social media posts, as well as taking time to do run-throughs with each speaker. During the webinar, at least one person from our team attends as host to ensure everything runs smoothly and records for people to watch after. Once the webinar is finished, we upload each recording and send out emails to those who were not able to attend live and finish with a blog post.

Events

This last month, some of our communications team traveled to Dilworth, MN for the Small Grains Update Meeting hosted by Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers. Our team recorded all the sessions during the conference and then worked to create high quality recordings for people to rewatch after.

NCI also had the opportunity to take part at the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association Convention and Industry show on January 16th and 17th. We had a booth set up filled with upcoming course flyers, technical brochures, promotional items, and more. All the banners, flyers, and promo items were created by our team, and are always on hand for when NCI takes part in trade shows like this one!

Courses

Although NCI didn’t hold any courses this last month, we’re always preparing for future ones. Our team works to create promotional flyers and videos, send out registration and reminder emails, help create or upload content for the course such as videos and presentations, and assist in running the courses as needed!

Between the busyness of webinars, courses, and traveling…our team has also been hard at work editing videos, writing press releases, blog posts, planning, & more for upcoming events.
